#iPadBand - Engaging all children with music through technology
With ever decreasing budgets, music and musical instruments are often low on a schools' budget priorities, and inspiring children using simple instruments is becoming an ever more difficult task. By making effective use of the technology in school already, it is possible to engage and excite every child in school with music, and develop skills, understanding and musicality, allowing the children to perform live as a band, understand what it feels like to play in front of an audience, make musical decisions and talk in a musical way, with clear progression on to real instruments. Wider skills are also developed in the process including collaboration, listening skills and more.

This session will look at the practical approaches to creating a #iPadBand, what you need, how to approach it, where the resources are and what the outcomes look like.
