Phonics: Are we failing our children? How to bring phonics to life
The UK has the lowest teenage literacy rate in the developed world (OEDC, 2012).
Children in KS1 and Reception are being failed by traditional approaches that use unengaging and one-dimensional methods that do not fit with how children learn. Teachers and schools need excellent value for money resources to help them do their job.
Be prepared to see a new online approach that is improving the phonics check pass rate by as much as 12% points. Monster Phonics uses colour-coding for sound and multisensory teaching to create confident engaged learners who have a greater understanding of phonics and the English language.
If you want to improve results at your school or you’re simply interested in phonics, come to this session.
